Small Marin County law firm seeks entry level legal secretary/administrative assistant for full time position. This friendly and fast-paced firm handles a variety of corporate, civil litigation, real estate, and mediation matters. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of legal experience and should be well organized, detail-oriented, have strong ability to multi-task, work well with general public, and be a team player. Tasks include general secretarial (scheduling, typing and transcription, phones, filing, client interaction), light bookkeeping, and litigation support (calendaring, pleadings, scheduling, trial preparation). Proficiency with MS Word, WordPerfect, Timeslips, Quickbooks, and Abacus is preferred.
Medical/dental is provided through either Blue Cross or Kaiser (employee's
choice).The office is closed for the last two weeks in
December (except for December 29-30 for year end bookkeeping). This time off
does not count toward your 2 week vacation. (That's a lot of time off folks!!)
